AIN’T NO WAY! JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT CHURCH AND STATE WERE SEPARATE

Ain’t no way-http://www.alternet.org/belief/year-jail-not-believing-god-how-kentucky-persecuting-atheists. Read-not according to the state of Kentucky. In the Department of Homeland Security according to this article you must acknowledge the “Almighty God’s” security. For those who don’t you risk twelve (12) months in prison. Now I am only reading this article but you might want to research it. Good to know and check your states homeland security. They believe it or not might have the same thing.

In New Jersey the office is located in Newark, NJ for the Department of Homeland Security. Since it has two offices listed I will put all two office names down and then when you call you can verify which is address is for which.

The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: Newark Field Office 614 Frelinghuysen Avenue, 3rd Floor Newark, NJ 07114; Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations Field Office Director (973) 776-3300; Homeland Security Investigations 620 Frelinghuysen Avenue, Newark NJ 07114 (973) 776-5500 Special Agent in Charge (SAC).

Another article http://www.theblaze.com/stories/are-atheists-right-to-sue-over-a-ky-law-mandating-homeland-security-pledge-reliance-upon-god-take-the-poll/ It was an interesting article. First off, after having read the article I have to agree with something and I know you will not agree with me- the weather. The weather plays a big part in your defense of your country. For better or worse- God does play a part in people’s understanding of how their lives work due to crops and other things. So for them it is an implicit thought. But the premise of the country is to separate church and state. My feeling on this is because part of the reason that America got populated was to escape the reach of an Anglican Church. But the reason it seems that the other judge overturned the original decision was because it violated no constitutional law for that declaration of pledge to be put in there. Meaning that if we were to look at the language there is no direct correlation between the state/country and the church. If that is the case then there may be no violation and no reason for the lawsuit on that respect but to put someone in prison for a year- now that may be a reason for the lawsuit.

Please read and form your own opinion. I had to weigh in because my reaction was Ain’t no way! So look, read, listen and learn.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. I must say that you’ve done a great job with
this. In addition, the blog loads super quick for me on Opera.
    Outstanding Blog!
