Book Review: Top Suspense
Top Suspense is an anthology of stories written by 12 Classic Mystery Authors who have been read in magazines such as Ellery Queen and Mystery Magazine. The best way to describe the novel is to take from its own introduction:
This unforgettable anthology – packed full of cold-blooded killers,
erotic tension, shady private eyes, craven drug dealers, vicious
betrayals, crafty thieves, and shocking twists – is only a taste of the
thrills you will find in the breathtakingly original ebooks by these
authors at www.topsuspensegroup.com.
All the stories are varying lengths but each has a distinct idea behind the story. I like the stories. I love some of the endings. For instance, if you read The Canary by David Zeltserman you will like the storyline ending which I won’t give away except to say at some point, a criminal may give himself away. Also, Death’s Brother by Bill Crider the ending is a killer-literally. Each story has a surprise funny ending. And for the piece de resistance, you have a story written by each of the authors that becomes one story from all. So guys and gals, pull up a chair, your best glass of whatever you drink and enjoy your read.
